How to Trim or Split Your Movie

Double click your movie in the Timeline, or click the Advanced Editing button on the floating toolbar, or choose the option from the right-click menu to bring up the Advanced Editing window.

How to Trim Your Movie

Click the "Define Trim Area" button to select the area you want to keep. Drag the blue arrows to define the trim area. Or you can also click the "Set as Trim Start" button and "Set as Trim End" button to select the trim area.

When the area is selected, click the "Apply" button on the floating toolbar and then the "Apply" button on bottom right of the screen to apply the operation.

How to Split Your Movie

Select the position you want to split the video, and click the "Split" button to split your movie. Click the "Apply" button on the floating toolbar and then the "Apply" button on bottom right of the screen to apply the operation.

What is more, you can also split the video directly in the Timeline. The operation is similar with how you split video in the Advanced Editing window. All you need to do is select the position you want to split and choose the "Split" option from the right-click menu.
