To export videos without a black bar, click the Settings button. The Resample feature includes four options: Keep Aspect Ratio, Letterbox, Crop and Stretch.
Keep Aspect Ratio – is the default output style and keeps the original ratio of the file. The exported file may have a different size, but there is no black bar.
Letterbox – if the ratio is different between the input and output files, choose this option to use a black bar to fill the blank area. Some devices may only allow a fixed ratio and cannot play media files with a different ratio.
Crop – crops the original file to fit the ratio between input and output files. This option deletes the black bar of the original file, yet some sections may be lost.
Stretch - Stretches the output video to a target size.
MediaConverter 7.5 controls the CPU usage for the computer with multiple cores. This allows for more CPU capability to surf the Internet, play games, or watch a movie during conversion. All you need to do is click the + or – icon of the waveform at the bottom of the Main window to control the CPU number and usage. The higher the CPU usage, the faster the transcoding process. However, the computer may respond slower when you increase the usage.
