How do I set a bookmark to start a movie at my favorite scene?

Use the Smart Menu to set a bookmark. This feature mainly works for DVDs, since many Blu-ray discs do not support bookmarks.

1. To display the Smart Menu, click the icon, located on the bottom control panel. (Make sure a DVD or video file is playing in order to enable the Smart Menu.)

2. Click Add Bookmark to add a bookmark at the current point. All bookmark thumbnails for a movie are displayed in the Bookmark tab.

Why does playback stop after the opening screen of some Blu-Ray discs?

Some Blu-Ray discs might download BD Java files from the Internet which stop the playback after the opening screen and cause a significant delay, particularly if there are server or connection related issues. You can try pressing Ctrl+T to continue playback or you can disable access to the Internet completely using these steps:

1. Click the "Settings" in the Title bar.

2. Choose the "BD-Java" option.

3. Unselect the "Allow Access to Internet" option.
